The principals of Thyne Berglund & Co. have more than 50 years of combined experience as practicing attorneys and executives specializing in commercial real estate transactions, commercial real estate lending, loan workouts, real estate and UCC foreclosures and bankruptcy restructuring. Their clients are private lenders, national and regional banks, high net worth individuals and private equity funds.
What We Do
Our services are designed to help lenders, noteholders, and secured creditors efficiently recover capital secured by real property while navigating the procedural, legal, and practical complexities inherent in enforcement, foreclosure, workout, and asset recovery matters. We are uniquely positioned to guide clients through this process with a technical understanding of deed of trust enforcement, collateral recovery, post-default strategy, and the operational mechanics required to protect and maximize creditor recoveries.
Our practice includes serving as trustee under deeds of trust securing commercial debt. In that capacity, we administer the nonjudicial foreclosure process, conduct trustee’s sales, and handle post-sale transfer, ownership, and distribution procedures.
We also provide professional services ancillary to commercial debt restructuring and workouts, including serving as court-appointed receivers, asset liquidators, and debt restructuring and liquidation consultants.
